Every tournament has a desk.This is what runs on it.

Manager is the operator's app — a native iPad and Mac client for the people who seed the events, publish the draw, call the matches, and sign the results off at the end of the day.

Why an operator app

Running an event is not the same job as playing in one.

A player needs a phone. The desk needs something else. For nine hours the operator is holding the whole event at once — who has checked in, which table just went free, whether the draw can be published yet — and every answer has to be one key away, on hardware that stays put and stays awake.

So Manager is a native app rather than a browser tab, and it is built for the desk first: the same nine views on the Mac you run the event from and on the iPad you carry out to the tables.

One build, two devices

The same app and the same views on the Mac at the desk and the iPad in your hand. There is no second product to learn.

Keyboard first

⌘1 through ⌘9 jump straight to the nine views. ⌘K opens the command palette for everything else.

Venue Wi-Fi wobbles

Check-in, seeding, draws and match results queue on the device when the connection drops, and submit themselves when it comes back.

What's in it

Nine rows in the sidebar.

Manager doesn't hide its shape. Everything the desk does on the day sits behind one of these.

  • Live

    What is on the tables right now. Call the next match, take the score, certify the result.

  • Entries

    Register one player or paste a whole list, then run the check-in desk on the morning.

  • Events

    Add the events, seed them by rating, ranking, snake or random, and open the draw desk.

  • Schedule

    Time slots against tables. Generate a block, then move and swap by hand.

  • Brackets

    The published draw as a board, readable end to end.

  • Standings

    Group tables and final placings, updating as results land.

  • Export

    Certified results out to USATT, TTCAN or ITTF as CSV, JSON or ZIP.

  • Activity

    A read-only feed of everything that changed, newest first.

  • Settings

    Templates, venue, documents and account. Profile and membership stay on imatch321.com.

Export is gated on certified results: nothing leaves the desk before someone has signed it off.

Day one

Before anyone plays

  1. Create the eventName it and pick the formats — or clone last year's edition and change the dates.
  2. Import the entriesPaste the list or drop a CSV: name, rating, federation ID.
  3. Publish the drawSeed it, generate it, read the bracket, publish.

Day two

Once play starts

  1. Call the matchesNext match to the next free table.
  2. Take the scoreFrom the desk, or point by point from an iPad at the table.
  3. Standings, then exportCertify the results, read the final placings, send the file to the federation.
